The city's premier Halloween event reveals a music lineup for the ages. Christian Martin, Ardalan, and Worthy round out a Friday lineup already stocked with fellow Dirtybird veterans Justin Martin and J.Phlip. Saturday's lineup adds stalwarts like Aaron Axelsen, All Good Funk Alliance, and Manics to the previously unveiled headliners The Orb, DJ Dan, and the Mutaytor. The festival also unveils its first-ever drag performance stage, House of More Sea Hags of Drag featuring Juanita More, Glamamore, Miss Rahni, Voodonna Black, Dulce de Leche, and Qween with DJ sets by Gavin Hardkiss, David Harness and Sergio Fedasz
Entering its fourth year at Pier 70 in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, the ninth annual Ghost Ship is an event best known for its unparalleled original art installations schemed and dreamed of reclaimed materials to be enjoyed only at the event. The 2016 Atlantis edition is raising the bar with its first-ever Pantheon VIP Package featuring hosted all-inclusive bars in the elevated mezzanines plus separate VIP entrances and bathrooms. The inclusion of Juanita More's incredible lineup of drag performers further enhances the novelty of the 2016 event. Mark Twain Wild West Fest on October 15, 2016 in Angels Camp, CA : The Mark Twain Wild West Fest has been announced for Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 10 am to 9 pm, on Main Street in historic downtown Angels Camp. The inimitable, immersive, description-defying, high-camp and whimsical Mark Twain Wild West Fest promises to be a living interpretation and celebration of the 19th Century Wild West Gold Rush-era of the Sierra Nevada Mother Lode.
Featured are three stages of non-stop music, comedy and entertainment; roving street performers, magicians, jugglers, musicians, honky-tonk piano players and dance hall girls; beer, wine and food; gun-slinging cowboys and outlaws and shoot-out reenactments, as well as villains and damsels in distress; gold miners, their encampment and gold panning demonstrations; a flapjack breakfast; over 80 street vendors of all descriptions including arts and crafts, and a custom car show. The day is capped by a 4-hour evening live music and comedy concert and dancing under the stars in Utica Park. Admission and parking are FREE all day.
In addition, historical impersonators and re-enactors from great literary figures, entertainers and iconic personalities who made the American West great will be in attendance, including Mark Twain himself. Entertainment will also feature a children's storytelling workshop with Mark Twain, a Liar's Contest for adults, and other activities for adults and children of all ages.
This year, the Mark Twain Wild West Fest is offering raffle tickets for $10 each with the grand prize of a 4.68-ounce Gold Nugget valued at approximately $6,000.00. Moonalice was the brainchild of the great producer, T Bone Burnett in 2007 because he wanted to create a band with a San Francisco 60's sound. Moonalice plays mostly original material mixed with some covers, and during their extended freeform jams the band moves as one, drawing from many musical genres honed from years of experience playing with various major acts.

With their roots in the folk and gospel traditions and their hearts rooted in the present moment, MaMuse crafts music for the next seven generations to thrive on.

The first act, Classical Christmas, presents dancers in snowy white performing timeless holiday favorites. The Cool Christmas second act features a red-hot costume change, with dancers performing a mash-up of modern numbers, including the iconic “Santa Baby.” The Christmas Ballet will tour the Bay Area, beginning with shows in Walnut Creek, continuing in Carmel and Mountain View, and finishing up with its annual holiday run at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
