Beloved: Sacred Art/Music Festival

beloved 2

Beloved: Sacred Art/Music Festival on August 12, 2016 in Tidewater, CA : Beloved Festival is a wild and wonderful, 4-day, camping, music, art, and education festival on the Oregon coast. Since its inception in 2008, the fes tival has expanded the caliber of its production, scope of its education, and renown of its musical performers. Beloved is known for selling out as early as six months in advance, often before the lineup is even released, so advance ticket purchase is highly encouraged.
Beloved Festival offers a unique mix of leading-edge EDM and world music, interactive art installations, live painting, local organic cuisine, and educational programming, including workshops on yoga, the music and wisdom of ancient cultures, and eco-ethics. All of this together makes for an incredibly powerful festival experience.
“Cutting edge physicists, consciousness researchers, and mystics from all traditions are often saying the same thing these days, ‘We're not really as separate as we tend to believe,'” said Beloved founder Elliot Rasenick. “Every aspect of this festival is designed to give us a tangible experience of the depth of our connection to each other and the world around us.”
BELOVED FESTIVAL FAVORITE ATTRACTIONS:
• A single main stage, understood as a Mandala, used to concentrate and hold the energy of the festival while over 30 musicians and bands (from 80+ year old world music legends to extreme-cutting-edge EDM producers) create a sacred and unimaginable atmosphere.
• Three workshops areas each exploring one way that we're not separate: a “Mitakuye Oyasin Temple” dedicated to honoring and exploring all of our relationships and teaching authentic communication, intimacy, and boundary setting/seeing; a “Yoga Dome” featuring leading teachers from around the country with live music; and our “Temple of A.W.E.” (Ancient Wisdom Education) giving the masters of ancient traditions an opportunity to teach about the traditions presented at ...read more

About Kunlun:
-Activate Dormant Spiritual Potentials
-Transmute Your ‘Shadow Side'
-Increase Inner Strength & Focus
-Self-Awakening Is Attainable Max Christensen's KUNLUN® system is a formerly secret group of practices from ancient Taoist traditions in China. Together, they form some of the most powerful teachings and techniques for spiritual awakening ever developed on earth. Until recently, it was known to just a few temples in the mountains of western China. The KUNLUN® System is a rare Taoist alchemy practice that is a very powerful form of self-enlightenment.
KUNLUN® Method practices are the tools one can use to access magnetic potentials of the body that result in the transmutation of one's ‘shadow side', development of dormant super-potentials within the brain and the purification of the various toxins held in the physical and non-physical bodies. With this system, we are able to absorb up to 10 times more bodily energy than a normal person. Practicing the first level of the KUNLUN System regularly will purify the entire body as the 72,000 nadis are toned and cleared by the psychic heat generated. Health improves and maladies dissipate. The resultant purification causes one's consciousness to realize its true relationship to Life and God. This is the Tao.
This art is for those seeking direct experience. It is common for practitioners in this tradition to experience spontaneous movements, kriyas, crying, laughing, breathless states, manifestations of light, 3rd Eye opening or intense bliss states as part of their purification. This cleansing permits the merging of the microcosm and the macrocosm. It is through the ...read more

We will learn what shame is and how it is created, and how to help our clients recognize shame, work through it and move on. We will become more sensitive to the shaming often implicit in the therapy situation and learn how to counter shame in therapy. We will be able to help clients separate feelings of shame from other emotions. And we'll learn how to take clients back to early shaming situations and reverse the outcome, helping clients move their energy powerfully outward rather than turn it against themselves.

Yogasanas (Hatha Yoga)

Yogasanas (Hatha Yoga) on September 17, 2016 in Poway, CA : The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. Yogasanas are not exercises, but rather very subtle processes to manipulate one's energy in a particular direction.
In an untrained state, the human body is a constant manifestation of various levels of compulsiveness. By consciously forming the body into a certain posture, one creates a conducive passage for energy flow that can elevate one's consciousness. Yogasanas are a way of aligning the inner system and adjusting it to the celestial geometry, thereby becoming in sync with the existence and naturally achieving a chemistry of healthfulness, joyfulness, blissfulness, and above all, balance.
The practice of Yogasanas provides countless benefits including:
- Relief of chronic health conditions
- Evolution of body and mind towards a higher possibility
- Stabilization of the body, mind, and energy system
- Deceleration of the aging process
