Allen Stone & Monophonics

allenstone

Allen Stone & Monophonics on June 30, 2016 in Rohnert Park, CA : The young soul singer Allen Stone will play the SOMO Village Event Center June 30th with support from San Francisco's psychedelic soul band, The Monop honics. Stone proves himself deeply devoted to making uncompromisingly soulful music that transcends all pop convention. Like many of his own musical heroes- Stevie Wonder chief among them - Stone pulls off the near-magical feat of channeling a weight of the-world sensitivity into his songs while still radiating hope and promise. Stone has been featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show, the Conan O'Brien show and was VH1's first "You Oughta Know" artist of 2013.
Raised amid the rich musical culture and history of the San Francisco Bay Area, Monophonics proudly carry the torch through the generations into today's musical landscape. Holding on to tradition, but by no means purists of any kind, they play their own brand of music known as "Psychedelic Soul."
Second Octave Presents SOMO Concerts ushers in an exciting new era of live music in Sonoma County. Our 3000-seat outdoor venue is the most unique and enjoyable live performance facility in the North Bay.
The SOMO Village Event Center is solar powered, and features the very latest sound and lighting technology, custom designed for the venue's outdoor, 1200-square-foot stage. The facility is located an hour's drive north of San Francisco, in the heart of SOMO Village, the 200-acre, environmentally friendly, planned mixed-use community in Rohnert Park, CA.

TRAPEZE: HYPNO-ELECTROPIA

HYPNOELECTROPIA

TRAPEZE: HYPNO-ELECTROPIA on July 2, 2016 in San Francisco, CA : DirtyVolt Productions proudly presents the west coast's infamously wild burlesque dance party, Trapeze, lights up summer with a full throttle foray in to voodoo, volume and voluptuousness. This is a daring one. Experience the incandescent camarilla of live performers beautifully bathed in brilliant illumination and bounced through a hypnotic habitat of sight, sound and salaciousness that unveils the retro-futuristic dance world of Hypno-Electropia. Melding feverish Weimar cabaret with plutonium-grade electro-swing, Trapeze lures a bevy of underworld flappers, vipers, vamps, and villains to a bass-fueled night of jazz age abandon. Burlesque performers include Miss Eliza DeLite from London, Meka La Crème, Tana the Tattooed Lady, Kitty Oaks, Wily Minx Burlesque and Fou Fou Ha! Plus musical guests Delachaux, The Klown, The Speakeasy Syndicate, Limbs Akimbo featuring Sevon Caneri and your host emcees Miss Emma Nation and Jasper de Tarr.
‘From LA to Vancouver, the wandering burlesque dance party known as Trapeze has been scorching stages and seducing dance floors with an immersive kaleidoscope of haunting melodies and seismic beats. Driven by San Francisco DJ/Producer duo Delachaux and The Klown, Trapeze has been christened as the official lightning rod of the west coast underground's burgeoning electro-swing cult and features a parade of DJs, dancers and demimondes with a cheeky, bass heavy taste for vintage, old world wonder that's been spliced, diced and hotwired on tomorrow's sonic dope. Recently heralded by the SF Examiner, LA Weekly and Insomniac Magazine as one of underground dance music's most innovative directions, Trapeze continues to ambush swelling audiences with some of the most uniquely refreshing sights and sounds in contemporary nightlife.'- Beatport
