A 12 - Week Journey of Self Discovery
What is Autobiographical Therapeutic Performance?
Acts of Witness is a form of performance that gives you the opportunity to uncover and transform self-defeating “life scripts”. Through acting, improvisation and playwriting techniques, you will develop the skills to explore formative experiences, and spoken and unspoken toxic messages you received from family, society, life and historical traumas. With support, you will identify and refine therapeutic goals, reclaim lost aspects of your “Self”, and write new, life-affirming, narratives to guide your path.
This 12-week process will include supportive group exploration and personal work. You will:
Take courageous emotional risks in a safe, supportive environment
Embark on your own journey moving through the phases of a transformative therapeutic process
Work through the crisis of “re-decision” to reclaim autonomy over your life
Use theatre to help you recreate your life as a living, breathing work of art!

March 26th, 2017 - Culminating Performance at

Song for All Beings 2017 on February 25, 2017 in San Rafael, CA : A communal celebration of gratitude and one-world activism, Song For All Beings is a seamless collaboration woven by scores of musicians, dancers, and storytellers. The high-level performances spring from many spiritual and cultural traditions, creating a ceremonial concert that unfolds on stage and in the audience over the course of the evening—and long afterwards.
Song For All Beings, which premiered in 2013, began with a walking meditation in the hills of Northern California. As the words and melody of a new song came to singer/songwriter Jennifer Berezan, a bigger vision played out in her mind. She imagined a flowing tapestry of light, music, story, and dance. The song was merely the start.
Part celebration, part revolution, Song For All Beings invites, in fact, demands we open our hearts, and, in Jennifer Berezan's words “hold the whole world in these arms.”
