Kinetech Arts - Elements of Others on May 25, 2016 in San Francisco, CA : Join Kinetech Arts in its newest work Elements of Others, an exploration of human identity in a world of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality. Taking inspiration from the Dadaism movement, Kinetech Arts uses randomness to determine the order of events, creating montage with dance, manifestos, poetry, music and the newest interactive technologies.

Founded by Artistic Directors Weidong Yang and Daiane Lopes da Silva in January 2013, Kinetech Arts is a collective of artists and scientists striving to challenge possibility through collaborative creativity. Kinetech Arts has performed at ODC theatre, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, The Garage, KUNST-STOFF arts, L.A.S.T festival, Geekdom, Moscone Center, Headlands Center for the Arts, among others. Together with Codame art+tech, Kinetech Arts held the first Hack + Dance Marathon in San Francisco. It was recognized by the SF WEEKLY as "Best Genre-Defying Sci-Artistic Collaboration of 2014". Kinetech Arts holds weekly open labs at SAFEHouse Arts, as well as weekly Talk Bubble TV show and public access channel 29.

Nottingham Festival 2016 on November 5, 2016 in Simi Valley, CA : Come step back in time with the Nottingham Festival this November! The three-time award-winning Nottingham Festival returns to Simi Valley for two wee kends! Festivities begin November 5th, 6th, 12th & 13th on Nottingham Green at Civic Center Park for food, fun and frivolity! A group of dedicated volunteers from the community along with the Actor's Repertory Theater of Simi and the non-profit Simi Valley Cultural Association set out to make that dream a reality. Nottingham Festival will recreate the magic and revelry of an Elizabethan Faire and marketplace with street performers and stage acts that will provide entertainment for all ages. Craft workers and reenactors from various guilds will entreat you to experience a taste of the handicrafts and lifestyle of the 16th Century.

Casa Pacifica Food & Wine Festival on June 5, 2016 in Camarillo, CA : The Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival has steadily grown since 1994 to become the premiere wine and food event in Ventura County. It beg an at the Ventura Pierpont Inn, continued from 2001 to 2006 at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard, and has flourished since 2007 at California State University's Channel Islands in Camarillo.
